That right there says more about this book than I can ever do.
I fully agree with Bill Gates on that this book is one of if not the most important books to read if you want to fully understand the world, and how much we progress every single day/month/year.
Hans Rosling was known for presenting extremely complicated and boring topics in a way that an idiot with a six nano second attention span could and would grasp.
This book will give you a brief understanding of how amazing the world actually is and how quickly we are progressing in many important areas.
And if you read between the lines you will also find awesome opportunities for where to aim your next venture so you might be able to make both a positive impact and some money, and with that make an even bigger impact.
Hans was a genius in presenting the right, and comparing facts, and Gapminder is working hard to make people (governments) understand that you always need more than one datapoint.
This book and Hans’s presentations (you can find hours on Youtube), will urge you to be more critical than you have ever been, but in a good way.

Sadly Hans passed away early 2017.
But Gapminder is still working hard to educate, through co-founders: Ola Rosling & Anna Rosling Rönnlund.
